By making payment, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
A booking date is not secured until a 50% non-refundable deposit has been received. Until this is paid, the date remains available to other clients.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the wedding date. Failure to complete payment within this timeframe may result in cancellation of the booking.
Booking Changes
All changes to the booking must be made by the bride.
Quotes are based on the initial details provided, including booking size, location, timing, and service requirements. Once confirmed, booking sizes cannot be reduced but may be increased subject to availability and timing.
Any changes must be communicated as soon as possible.
The booking fee (deposit) is non-refundable.
One date change may be permitted subject to availability.
In the event of cancellation:
• Cancelling within 3 months of the wedding date: 50% of the remaining balance is still payable.
• Cancelling within 1 month of the wedding date: 100% of the remaining balance is payable.
Payments for services already carried out (e.g. trials) are non-refundable.
In the unlikely event that Chris Becks is unable to attend due to severe illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, a recommended replacement stylist will be offered where possible, or a full refund of monies paid.
Timing & Service Conditions
Services are based on the agreed schedule. The client is responsible for ensuring all parties are ready at the agreed time.
Any delays or changes to the agreed schedule may result in additional charges.
If services extend beyond the agreed booking time due to delays or additional requests, this will be charged accordingly.
A minimum of 15 minutes is required for setup and 15 minutes for pack down.
A suitable workspace must be provided, including a table/flat surface and appropriate chair. Delays caused by unsuitable conditions are not the responsibility of the stylist.
Travel & Accommodation
Travel fees are based on current availability and pricing at the time of booking.
In the event of unforeseen changes (including transport disruptions or delays requiring alternative arrangements), any additional travel costs incurred will be the responsibility of the client and must be settled prior to the commencement of services.
For early start times (before 7:00am), a £90 surcharge will apply.
Accommodation may be required where:
• Travel time exceeds 2 hours one way
• Start time is 6:00am or earlier
• Other logistical factors require it
Full-Day Bookings – Meals & Refreshments
For full-day services or extended bookings, meals and refreshments must be provided for the stylist(s).
Where there is limited access to food options, the client is responsible for arranging this in advance.
Additional Stylists
For larger bridal parties, additional stylists may be required. This will be discussed and included in the final quotation where applicable.
Pre-Appointment Services
Any additional services outside the wedding day (including wig installation or preparation appointments) will be charged separately.
The bridal hairstyle will be discussed and agreed during the consultation process.
Any changes to the agreed hairstyle must be requested no later than 7 days before the wedding date to allow sufficient time for planning and preparation.
Minor adjustments may be accommodated on the wedding day where appropriate. However, significant changes to the agreed style, including changes to the overall style, parting, structure, direction, or finish of the hairstyle, cannot be guaranteed on the wedding day.
Requests for major style changes on the wedding day may affect both the timing of the service and the final result.
Hair by Chris Becks reserves the right to proceed with the agreed hairstyle where sufficient time is not available to redesign or recreate an alternative style.
While Hair by Chris Becks recommends using hair supplied by Hair by Chris Becks to ensure the highest quality and best possible results, clients may choose to provide their own hair.
In the event that a client chooses to provide their own wig or hair extensions, the hair must be received no later than 4 weeks before the wedding date for assessment and preparation.
Option 1: Hair Provided by Hair by Chris Becks

• Hair by Chris Becks cannot guarantee results where unsuitable hair is supplied by the client
Professional Conduct
Chris Becks reserves the right to refuse service if any client, guest, or member of the bridal party behaves in a rude, aggressive, or inappropriate manner. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
Hair & Makeup Responsibility
Makeup application is recommended after hair styling is completed or after initial hair preparation. Chris Becks is not responsible for any disruption to makeup caused during hair styling.
Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be taken for use on social media, website, and marketing. If you do not wish to be featured, this must be communicated in advance.
Insurance
Clients are strongly advised to obtain wedding insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
